EAEU, Iran to sign free-trade zone deal in December
MOSCOW, Dec 6 (PRIME) -- The Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and Iran are getting ready to sign an agreement to create a free trade zone at the end of December, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Alexander Pankin told reporters on Wednesday.
“Speaking about the EAEU, this is a standard agreement on a free trade zone, even though each one differs in its formalization, and covers a certain array of goods coordinated by the two sides,” he said.
The agreement should be signed during a session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, Pankin said.
